It's no longer a news about the ugly incident which occurred in Kano, Kano State last week, a 74 year old woman from Mbaitoli, Imo State, late Mrs Bridget Agbaghime was gruesomely murdered by rampaging Islamist fanatics in Kano. She was accused of blaspheming against Prophet Muhammad. The woman whose husband (a pastor in DeeperLife Church) narrowly escaped death at the hand of the barbarians has lived in Kano for a very loooong time.

This has once again sparked widespread debates on whether or not Ndigbo living and doing business in the north should relocate en masse to Igboland. Various reasons have been argued for and against the motion that ndigbo living in the north should pack their bags and return home. In all their views, there have been many reasoning which cannot be easily waved at or ignored.

What is your view? Should ndigbo relocate or stay put?

Igbo is the pillar of Nigeria, no doubt but the reason for the question is that of the security of lives and properties of ndigbo living in the northern part of the country. There have been many cases of incessant, unwarranted violence against ndigbo living in that part of the country which have led to the lost of their lives and valuable properties. To make the matter worse, Federal and State government seems to be not interested in them. I think it is better for our people down there to relocate for the sake of their lives...
